Our Process
Situational Awareness – Based on assessments made by you, the client, IPS derives a picture of where your organization currently stands in the business/disability space.
Access Audit – Similar to Situational Awareness, IPS will assess where your organization currently stands based on outside viewpoints and objective benchmarks. IPS uses stated policy alongside internal and external focus groups to measure your firm relative to 7 touch-points or interfaces with your firm. The result is one number – Return on Disability™.
The Strategic Plan – Visioneering is critical to aspiring to a future state. A rigorous action plan is critical to realizing said future state. By using a planning facilitation inspired by Hoshin Process and Quality Functional Deployment, IPS guides your team in identifying its key few customer(s), and more importantly, delivering the critical few actions leading to their desired outcome. Note that for most organizations, the end customer is the shareholder.
Ready, Fire, Aim – Preparing for perfection results in a lost race. IPS provides the expertise that lowers the risk in being a first mover, simply because we’ve been there before and our organizational knowledge is portable. Following the strategy of quick, easy wins will help establish a beach-head for future growth.
Creating Organizational Memory – The key to long-term success in ensuring that business/disability becomes institutionalized within your organization. Do your efforts pass the ‘hit by a bus’ test? IPS uses best practice to ensure organizational memory.
Continuous Improvement Loops – Following process inspired by Six Sigma, IPS develops feedback/action loops around the 7 interfaces to ensure Return on Disability™ is consistently benchmarked and stays on target.
